Two men face numerous charges following a suspected shoplifting incident just prior to noon, Thursday.
Hillsboro Police say they responded to the Walmart store on a theft complaint in which 37-year-old John Willett, of Greenfield, was alleged to have bought one item and stolen another both of which are commonly used to make methamphetamine.
32-year-old Gregory Grooms, of Hillsboro, was alleged to have helped Willett with the theft, had bought a chemical used to make meth, and was carrying drug abuse instruments.
Both were arrested and taken to the Highland County Jail.
Willett was charged with theft and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for manufacture of drugs, while Grooms was charged with complicity to theft, possession of drug abuse instruments, and illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs.
