The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office reports that while checking vehicles at the publicly announced D.U.I. Check Point Saturday, deputies made contact with a driver who was unable to produce a driver’s license.
It was determined that his driver’s license was suspended and the vehicle was reported as stolen from Hillsboro.
The driver, 24-year-old Bradley R. Smith of Hillsboro, was arrested for Driving Under Suspension and Receiving Stolen Property.
The passenger, 28-year-old Lynnette Roberds of Hillsboro was also charged with Receiving Stolen Property.
